The Illawarra Police Charity Ball Committee meet in January every year to decide which charity would benefit from that years ball.

If your charity would like to be considered, please send a detailed letter, expressing your interest to the Illawarra Police Charity Ball Committee, P.O. Box 430, Wollongong NSW 2500. Expressions of interest are due by the end of December each year.

The criteria to receive funding from the Illawarra Police Charity Ball, is funds must go to a Illawarra Charity and or/have links to the New South Wales Police Force/officers.
